Disconnect Switches

BACO Controls disconnect switches come equipped with unequaled modularity. All components in the range are versatile and may be used for front or enclosed mounting. Benefits include ease of installation, variety of use, compactness and flexible combinations for customized applications.

Reversible terminal blocks for front or rear mounting saving valuable time during installation. Baco’s proprietary reversible terminal design allows one switch body to be mounted in multiple ways. This flexibility is enhanced with numerous handle, enclosure and accessory options allowing customers to create the switch that’s right for any application.

The enclosure features cable entries with pre-formed knockouts, tamper-proof cover with padlockable handle, and a wide choice of associated contact blocks. These switches can come with or without a DI rail mounting door interlock system, and with short or long metal shafts that can be cut to the length required. These switches offer quick and easy DIN mount installation in a panel or cabinet, convenient local disconnect, a wide range of additional blocks and accessories, and yellow/red and gray handles for different applications.

BACO has announced robust new pistol-style interlock handles for the disconnect switch range. These handles are available in both yellow/red and black/grey colors, IP66 rated and UL/NEMA Type 1, 2, 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 12K. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the handles are compatible with all of the BACO switches, 25A to 100A.  They are defeatable, allowing access to the panel in the ON position for qualified service technicians.
