Using an array of closely spaced light beams, Banner Engineering measuring arrays and measuring light screens are designed for profiling, inspections and process monitoring. They excel at on-the-fly product sizing and profiling, edge-guiding and center-guiding, loop tension control, hole detection, parts counting, die ejection verification and similar uses.

EZ-ARRAY Series Measuring Arrays

EZ-ARRAY light screens are designed for simple installation and optimum performance of high-speed, precise process monitoring and inspection, profiling and web-guiding. Applications include edge and center-guiding, loop tension control, hole sizing, parts counting and on-the-fly product sizing and profiling. Configuration options include 14 measurement modes, three scanning methods, two analog and two discrete outputs and a serial output.

MINI-ARRAY Series Measuring Light Curtain

The MINI-ARRAY programmable measuring light curtain for inspections and profiling has a long range of up to 17 m. This measuring array features low-profile, programmable measuring light screen systems and includes a controller, emitter/receiver pair and interconnecting cables. The array offers a programmable controller with a selection of measurement modes, scan modes and output configurations.

MINI-ARRAY High-Resolution Measuring Arrays

These MINI-ARRAY curtains are excellent at high-speed, precise monitoring and inspection applications, including on-the-fly sizing, profiling, edge guiding and hole detection. This array is available in heights of 163 to 1951 mm, provides 120 sensing beams per foot, for reliable detection of objects as small as 2.5 mm and features a 2 m range with easy, forgiving alignment. This MINI-ARRAY offers programmable blanking, hysteresis and serial communications.

MINI-ARRAY Two-Piece Measuring Light Curtain

Based on the popular MINI-ARRAY emitter and receiver design, this two-piece system is easy to use and install, and does not require a separate controller. This curtain detects single-fault emitter, receiver and dirty lens conditions, and continues to function in single-fault conditions. Diagnostic LEDs provide a simple means of monitoring sensor performance. Models are available with array lengths from 150 to 1220 mm in 150 mm increments, plus 1520 mm and 1830 mm models.
