Feeder Bowls

Fortville Feeders specializes in designing and manufacturing feeder bowl systems. Fortville stakes its reputation on providing systems for challenging customer applications, and provides standard features in all feeder bowls for easy maintenance and moving.

Vibratory Feeder Bowls

Vibratory feeder bowls are the best way to sort and position parts for automated assembly when high feed rates are required or parts need to be positioned in a way that is difficult due to their challenging geometries.

  • Standard sizes: Diameters of 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 36 and 42 inches
  • Bowls can be designed for any application: inside tooled, outside tooled, down feeders, cascade bowls
  • Multiple lines optional
  • Materials: stainless steel construction, 316L stainless steel tooling standard, 304L available on request
  • Finishes and coatings: brushed polishing standard, spray, plasma, urethane, or diamond belt coatings optional
  • All bowls designed on 3D CAD for tighter fits, repeatable patterns, quick redesigns, and less waste
  • Double-wide first turn standard for better return pan feeding and complete part evacuation
  • Return pan feed systems reduce load height
  • Cross arm-less drives standard for 21-inch bowls and larger
  • All bowls tab mounted

Centrifugal Parts Feeding Systems

Centrifugal feeder systems are used to reduce noise associated with parts feeding systems. They deliver parts at high speeds and are best when feeding a single line.

  • Standard Sizes: Diameters of 15, 20, 30, 40 and 50 inches
  • Best application for high-speed, single-line feeding of geometrically simple parts
  • Materials: stainless steel construction, 316L stainless steel tooling standard, 304L available on request
  • Extremely quiet, reducing noise typical of feeder systems

Step Feeder Systems

Fortville Feeders provides step feeder systems when vibratory feeders cannot be applied or customers desire a quieter loading solution.

  • Left handed or right handed models available
  • Quieter operation without vibration
  • Less space required
  • Easily customizable/flexible tooling for minor part changes
  • Easy loading/lower profile
  • High tolerance selection of parts to required orientation
