F3SG-SR/PG Safety Light Curtains

The F3SG-SR/PG series offers a complete lineup of light curtains that comply with global safety standards and a wide range of functionality that allows manufacturers to manage globalization requirements and flexible production needs in order to build state-of-the-art safety systems.. The F3SG-SR safety light curtain and F3SG-PG safety multi-light beam series helps manufacturers build safety systems on a common platform. With a standardized mechanical design, one series covers all protection applications, from machine openings to perimeter protection. Standardize mechanical design across production lines and eliminate complexity of selection and design. The long-distance sensing capability enables reliable detection even in harsh environments. The F3SG-SR Series is oil- and water-resistant with an IP67G rating and can function in temperatures as low as -30°C.

F3SG-R Series Light Curtains

This safety light curtain increases both durability and productivity, with fast setup and high resistance to environmental changes up to 20 m. The robust version of this curtain has five times greater resistance to vibration than the previous model and a rugged IP67G rated housing that is impervious to machine cutting oil. This curtain is ideal for flexible manufacturing, with stable operation and predictive maintenance. Multiple versions are available for finger, hand and arm protection.

F3SJ Series Curtains

Three versions are available to meet precise safety needs, and all versions conform to the latest PLe/Safety Category 4 and SIL3 requirements. The EASY type curtain is suited for straightforward on/off detection applications. By carefully selecting the available functions, Omron has reduced man hours necessary for installation by approximately 1/2 when compared with existing OMRON models.

MS4800 Series

These curtains come with a durable, impact-resistant body and 20 m sensing distance, the longest in the industry. Unlike conventional curtains, the MS4800 Series uses a thick aluminum case (3 mm at its thinnest parts), making it ideal for applications with considerable vibration or impacts. Even in applications where large, complicated machines are guarded, the use of mirrors can reduce the number of curtains required.
