PFC200 Gen 2 PLC Controllers with PROFINET

PFC200 Gen 2  compact PLC contollers for the modular WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM are the industry‘s first PLC supporting the Sparkplug B1 standard with gateway functionality for all popular fieldbus networks, as well as a built-in VPN and firewall for security. Proven industrial hardware with the utmost flexibility and modularity allows you to choose from over 500 digital, analog and special function I/O modules. These Gen 2 PLCs include gateway functionality for multiple fieldbus networks: CANopen, Profibus, Modbus TCP/UDP, Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU and EtherCAT.

The PROFINET ports are switched for use as a line configuration. The USB-A port is used with removable memory devices for extending the memory capabilities of the controller. The USB memory is used with WAGO’s memory stick. The SD card slot can also be used for extending the memory up to 32 GB in order to back up and restore the controller’s applications and firmware. The two Ethernet ports can be used in a switched configuration or they can be separated. This controller is IIoT-ready, supporting the MQTT protocol.

Modbus TCP Controllers

WAGO’s Modbus TCP Controller can be used as a programmable controller within Ethernet networks in conjunction with the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM. This generation of PLC controllers is programmed with WAGO-I/O-PRO and equipped with a high-speed processor, built-in switch and extensive memory. With World Wide and Marine Certifications, this fourth generation of PLCs is perfect for standalone equipment, factory automation, process systems and shipboard automation.

The controller is designed for fieldbus communication in Modbus networks. It also supports a wide variety of standard Ethernet protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, BootP, DHCP, DNS, SNTP, SNMP, SFTP). Two Ethernet interfaces and an integrated switch allow the fieldbus to be wired in a line topology. This eliminates additional network devices, such as switches or hubs. Both interfaces support autonegotiation and Auto-MDI(X).

Ethernet/IP PLC Controllers

WAGO expands its portfolio of PLC controllers and couplers with the release of the fourth generation of Ethernet/IP based devices, enabling users to select the best device for their application at the right price point. These new 4th generation PLCs utilize WAGO’s I/O-PRO Codesys version 2.3 software for programming and web visualization development, and are equipped with a high speed processor, built-in Ethernet switch and extensive memory. The new Ethernet/IP coupler offers quicker boot up and larger power terminals. The two Ethernet ports are switched for line network topologies and support Ethernet/IP adapter communications to interface with Ethernet/IP Scanners (Masters). These new controllers are ideal for small to medium sized applications for standalone skidded systems and general control applications. With 500+ I/O and specialty modules along with a compact footprint make these controllers perfect for industrial applications.

750-823: This economy PLC controller is ideal for simple control applications. The controller can easily be configured using the onboard web-based managenemt system. This controller does not support web visualizations and does not have a real-time clock or file system.

750-893: This full-feature PLC controller has two switched Ethernet ports, DIP switches for IP address configuration and an onboard SD card slot for data storage or to transfer device parameters plus up to 8 MB of program memory and 8 MB of data memory. Its built-in web server can be used for configuration via WBM and supports web visualizations. This controller is certified for hazardous and marine locations.
