Servo Amplifiers

Yaskawa’s Sigma-7 SERVOPACKs are fully digital, networkable servo amplifiers that offer the output needed for precise, high-speed actuation of one or two axes of servo motor motion. The power options range from 30 watt to 15 kW with 100/200 and 400 VAC operation.

Every Yaskawa servo motor has a companion SERVOPACK amplifier, with built-in control software that simplifies setup, fine tunes performance and boosts automation efficiency. Yaskawa equips each SERVOPACK with a suite of software commissioning and tuning tools, designed to achieve full functioning right out of the box. This superior performance continues in spite of all the vibration, resonance, friction and noise that a modern automated machine can dish out.

SigmaLogic7 Compact Servo Amplifiers

Yaskawa SigmaLogic7 Compact is a compact, high performance SERVOPACK servo amplifier with a bonus: included Add On Instructions (AOIs) for the Rockwell ControlLogix and CompactLogix family of programmable logic controllers. This servo amp makes it possible to add the superior performance and unmatched reliability of a Yaskawa servo system to a machine without leaving the familiar format of an existing programmable logic controller. Users can now send instructions directly from a PLC to the SigmaLogic7 Compact, and no other programming software is required. This opens up a range of automation improvements.

Benefits:

  • Contains all the features of a Sigma-7 servo system
  • No other programming software needed
  • Use direct command or 200 point configurable sequence table
  • More compact than ever before, freeing up space in control cabinets
  • Internal switch for daisy chaining of multiple amplifiers
  • Perform basic point-to-point moves, blended speed moves, homing, jogging, using direct commands or initiating moves through a configurable sequence table
  • The LogicWorks software utility may be used to download sequence and configuration data

SGD7W MECHATROLINK-III Servo Amps

Control two axes of servo motion within a single SERVOPACK amplifier that offers the advanced options of a MECHATROLINK-III motion network. Dual axis capability decreases system costs, cuts component counts and conserves panel space. Yaskawa’s advanced set of servo tuning algorithms assure world class vibration suppression, removal of ripple and friction effects, improved autotuning, and tuning-less commissioning right out of the box.

SGD7S MECHATROLINK-III

Boost performance, precision and versatility of automation systems with an amplifier that delivers the advanced options of a MECHATROLINK III motion network. Plug-and-play MECHATROLINK III functionality means fast 1000 Mbps communication and the ability to synchronize control of up to 62 slaves. Amplifier bandwidth of 3.1 kHz sets a new speed standard for servo response. This amplifier provides reduced settling times, reliably precise control and faster setup of a new automation system.

SGD7W EtherCAT Servo Amplifiers

Control two axes of servo motion within a single SERVOPACK amplifier that offers the advanced options of EtherCAT motion network. Dual axis capability decreases system costs, cuts components counts and conserves panel space. Industry-leading 3.1kHz bandwidth significantly improves settling time. Improved filtering minimizes inaccuracies due to electrical interference, machine resonance, and mechanical vibration.

SGD7S EtherCAT Amplifiers

Yaskawa engineered the SGD7S to provide the latest Sigma-7 SERVOPACK amplifier capabilities for automation systems standardized on EtherCAT industrial networks. Plug-and-play EtherCAT functionality means immediate compatibility, faster refresh rates and minimum system infrastructure for extra cost effectiveness. Yaskawa’s Sigma-7 amplifier technology adds 3.1kHz bandwidth to improve speed and precision.

SGD7S Analog Servo Amps

The Yaskawa SGD7S SERVOPACK meets the need for an analog voltage or pulse train control interface, while also offering the advanced capabilities of a Sigma-7 servo amplifier. A frequency response of 3.1 kHz assures high-speed response and improved settling time. A tuning-less mode and improved autotuning features eliminate the need to manually tune a servo, both at installation and in ongoing everyday use.

SGD7S Sigma-7Siec

Put complete control for a single axis of servo motion in one compact unit that conserves space in control cabinets. Sigma-7 Siec combines a Sigma-7 SERVOPACK amplifier and one axis of machine control in the space of a conventional amplifier, at a significant savings when compared to a pair of separate components.

SGD7S MP2600iec Servo Amplifiers

SGD7S MP2600iec provides the latest Sigma-7 SERVOPACK amplifier capabilities for automation systems while offering 1.5 axes of built-in motion control in a single package. This means immediate compatibility, faster refresh rates and minimum system infrastructure for extra cost effectiveness.

SigmaLogic7 Modbus Amplifiers

The SigmaLogic7 Modbus is a compact, high performance SERVOPACK with built-in controller functionality that allows direct amplifier motion sequencing and axis control from a third-party host controller using Modbus TCP protocol. Send instructions directly from a controller to the SigmaLogic7 Modbus, with no other programming software required.
