Emergency Stop Controls

Banner Engineering’s emergency stop controls provide workers a means of stopping a device during an emergency by pushing a button or pulling a rope in order to prevent personnel injury and material loss.

30 mm Mount Emergency Stop Buttons

These illuminated buttons offer easy identification of which e-stop has been activated and a 30 mm mounting base for easy installation and hookup with no assembly, individual wiring or additional enclosure required. Multiple buttons can be wired in a series, with built-in logic allowing for clear indication of a pushed button. Reduce intensive labor costs with a fully enclosed e-stop button ready for installation.

The easy-to-install flush mount e-stop is available in four models: standard actuator, illuminated standard actuator, lockable actuator and illuminated lockable actuator. The buttons are available with illuminated Safety BUS Gateway compatibility, and in two-color, one-color and non-illuminated black base. The rugged design is rated to IP65.

Panel Mount E-Stop Buttons

These electromechanical controls are panel mounted through 30 mm mounting holes and are easy to install, with locking and illuminated models available. They feature push-to-stop, twist-to-release (standard and lockable), or pull-to-release (standard) operation per IEC60947-5-5. The latching design complies with ISO 13850 direct (positive) opening operation.

Safety Cable Pull Switch with E-Stop Button

This safety pull cable switch with integrated button uses steel cable to provide e-stop actuation for conveyors and large machinery. The switch activates if the rope is pulled, becomes loose or breaks. Available spans range from 6 to 100 m. The minimum switch life is one million operations. Trip and latch switch models are available.

Safety Cable Pull Emergency Stop Switch

Rope pull switches, when used with steel wire rope, provide emergency stopping actuation for conveyors and large machinery. Heavy-duty switch housings withstand harsh environments. The design meets positive opening requirements for rope pull switches.

This handheld grip-styled switch is used for manual control of machine functions, including visual observations, minor adjustments, calibration and more. When continuously activated and used in conjunction with a separate actuating control, the switch will allow the machine to function in manual operating mode. It provides three-position functionality and an optional momentary pushbutton switch (depending on model) that can provide hold-to-run, reset, or jogging/inching functions.
