WAGO 750-362 Modbus TCP/UDP Fieldbus couplers connect Ethernet to the modular WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM. The fieldbus coupler automatically configures, creating a local process image which may include analog, digital or specialty modules. The WAGO Modbus couplers’ fast boot-up time enables systems to get online quicker when powered up. Larger power wiring connectors allow for wire sizes up to 12 AWG using standard size wiring tools. Firmware updates can now be accomplished using the coupler’s onboard web-based management system.
This new WAGO Modbus couplers also support up to five multicast addresses for Modbus UTP. The 750-362 can be paired with WAGO’s 500+ I/O modules to meet the needs of any I/O application. This Modbus fieldbus coupler will support up to 250 I/O modules when a bus extension module is used. Dual 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports are used as an integrated switch enabling the network cables to be wired in a line topology, eliminating the need for additional devices such as Ethernet switches or hubs. Both interfaces support Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDI(X). The DIP switch configures the last byte of the IP address and may be used for IP address assignment (DHCP, BootP, static). The device supports a wide variety of protocols including HTTP(S), BootP, DNS, SNMP, and FTP(S).
The coupler has an integrated supply terminal for the system voltage. The field power jumper contacts are supplied via a separate supply module.
The Modbus coupler 750-362 has worldwide certifications, including marine certifications, making it perfect for:
- Shipboard automation
- Building automation
- Factory automation
- Process applications
